Brookside Farmers’ Market is a friendly community of local growers and producers sharing organic and non-GMO food with Kansas City eaters. The market has brought farm fresh produce to the Brookside neighborhood and beyond since 2003.
“Iskay” is a duo based in Kansas City that plays traditional South American music.
Amado Espinoza, from Bolivia, is a unique composer/performing artist specializing in the Bolivian Charango. He is a unique performing artist that respects his folk traditions of the Andes Mountains, while creating compositions that are sincere to his musical-wanderlust personality. Playing over 40 instruments from all over the world.
He is joined by his musical brother, Pedro Calderon (Peru) – flutes, guitar, vocals. Pedro has lived and collaborated with many musical groups in Kansas City.
The presentation start at 11am to 1pm.
