The MISA CRIOLLA of Ariel Ramirez is a work that exudes unbounded joy. It features an ensemble of wind and percussion instruments in the tradition of the mountains of Argentina and the exuberance of the Hispanic tradition.
The Summer Singers of Lee’s Summit will be joined in performance by Tenor soloist Daniel Baker, a member of the William Baker Festival Singers, and guest instrumentalist, Amado Espinoza, will be playing the charango, a 10 string guitar from South America. They are also partnering with the Choral Foundation’s Spanish chorus, Voces Festivas, and guest percussion instrumentalists for the concert event.
